Kheera ka Raita i.e. Cucumber Chutney.

Cucumber is popularly known as kheera in India.Today we are going to make kheera ka raita .It is very healthy and delicious.You all will love to have to have it in lunch as well as dinner as it is very light and low in calorie.


Preparation Time:10 minutes
Serves-4
Ingredients:
Curd- 200 grams
1 Cucumber - grated
Refined oil- 1 teaspoon
Dry red chili-4-5
Red Chili Powder- 1 teaspoon
Black salt- 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds(jeera)-1 teaspoon
curry leaves- 1 bunch
Salt to taste



Steps to prepare:
1.Mix the curd properly.


2.Add grated cucumber,chili powder,black salt and salt to taste and mix it properly.



3.Heat oil in a pan ,add cumin seeds,dry red chili and curry leaves.Fry for 1 minute in low flame.


4.Add the mixture with the curd mixture.Best served cold with roti and curry.


Aloo Dum -Spicy Potato Curry.

Aloo Dum is a special potato curry .It is one of the favorite curry of almost all Indians.When we think of eating curry we always opt for it as it is very easy to prepare.My mom taught me how to make when i was only 10 years old,the reason behind knowing how to make it is my father ,who loves to have it anytime.It is especially a recipe for them who admire potatoes the king of all veggies.
                   So,make it quickly and share it with your family especially with potato admirers.


Cooking Time:30 minutes(approximately)
Preparation Time:40 minutes(approximately)
Serves-4
Ingredients:
4-5 boiled medium sized potato
Onion-2 small -chopped
Tomato-4 - chopped
Ginger garlic paste-1 tablespoon
Refined Oil-2 tablespoon
Red Chili Powder- 2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder-1 teaspoon
Cumin Powder-2 teaspoon
Coriander Powder- 2 teaspoon
Water 1 small cup
Salt to taste


Steps to prepare:
1.Heat oil in a pan,add chopped onion,fry it till it turn golden brown.
2.Add ginger garlic paste and fry for some time.

3.Add tomatoes and the mentioned spices ,and fry for 5 minutes in low flame.


4.Add boiled potatoes and fry for 5 minutes.


5.Add water.Fry for more five minutes and the dish is ready before you.serve hot with rotis .
