It is already mentioned in my other posts that Paneer(Indian Cottage Cheese)is an integral of Indian cooking. In every occasion the main dish must contain paneer and too much of spices and herbs. Every occasion is having the same menu like Shahi Paneer, Mutter Paneer , Paneer Tikka .Eating too much of these are not at all healthy so we can cook it in home in a simple way just adding small amount of spices which will help the main ingredient ,not to lose their original properties and nutritional contents.
Ingredients:
Indian Cottage Cheese(Paneer)-50 grams-cut into small cubes
2 potatoes boiled and cut into small pieces
3-4 tomatoes chopped
1 big onion-chopped
3-4 green chili chopped
ginger garlic paste- 2 teaspoon
2 tablespoon refined oil
1 teaspoon turmeric(haldi) powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
2 teaspoon Indian Curry Powder
Salt to taste
Preparation:
Heat oil in a pan.fry onions and green chili.
Fry onions till golden brown.Add Spices and fry for 4-5 minutes.
Add chopped tomatoes and fry till it get tender.
Add Boiled potatoes.
Add paneer and fry for more 3-4 minutes.
Mix properly and the dish is ready.
Serves-4
Preparation Time- 30 mins approx
Cooking time-20 mins approx
