Lemon Rice an Authentic South Indian Dish.

From the day i moved to South India i was wondering which recipe will be first uploaded so that it best represent South India(recently i moved to Chennai) and the recipe that came into my mind is Lemon Rice.It is   served with Sambar or Rasam .People love to have it as their lunch.It is also taken as breakfast.So here i present the typical South Indian Lemon Rice Recipe


Ingredients:
Refined oil-1 tablespoon
Juice of 1 lemon
2 onions-chopped
Mustard Seeds-1 teaspoon
Steamed Rice-100 grams
Raw Chana dal- 2 tablespoon
Salt to taste

Preparation:
1.Heat oil in a pan ,add mustard seeds ,make them splutter.Add onions and chana dal.fry for 2 minutes.


2.Add rice and mix it properly. add salt to taste and lemon juice.Fry for 2 minutes and the rice is ready.



Serve hot with Sambar or Rasam.
