Bread Upma is a simple snacks prepared with bread slices and vegetables of your choice like you can add corn, cabbage, cauliflower, carrot, potato. It is tasty as well as healthy. When we buy bread to make sandwiches or toasts, some slices of it are left and after 2-3 days we have to throw it ,in that case make a delicious bread snacks with that left over.
It is prepared with whole wheat bread and less oil also which can make these snacks healthier. If your kids are tired of eating the same breakfast than make a different choice for them with this healthy dish. Happy cooking.
1 Sweet corn
8 slices of white bread
1 big onion
4 green chili
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 tablespoon refined oil
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1.Heat oil in a pan,add mustard seeds ,make it splutter,add onions and green chili and fry it.
2.Add corn and turmeric powder.
3.Add chopped bread and mix it properly.Add salt to taste.
4.Bread corn upma is ready to eat.
Serve hot with tomato sauce as breakfast or evening snacks.
