I was just tired of eating okra fry and okra masala so today i thought of eating some other okra dishes,I searched the net and found Stuffed okra Recipe so interesting that i made it and believe me its delicious.Now only i came to know why okra is so famous in North India.I have added some extra ingredients and i made it changing some processes which i saw,Its is so tasty and healthier that i thought of making it once in every week.
Okra is called a great vegetable for the weak , exhausted people and for those suffering from mental depression.It is best in normalizing the blood sugar and cholesterol level in human body.So it should be taken in a regular manner to heal different diseases.You can try it from now ,start from this yummy recipe.
· 200 grams Small okra(bhindi)
· 1 tablespoon raw coriander
· 1 tablespoon raw fennel seeds(saunf)
· 1 tablespoon cumin seeds(zeera)
· 1 tablespoon turmeric powder.
· 1 tablespoon red chili powder
· 1 tablespoon indian curry powder
· Salt to taste
· Juice of two lemons
· Refined Oil-2 tablespoon
Steps to Prepare
1.Wash the okras in flowing water and dry it using the kitchen cloth.
2.Roast the raw spice(dhania,zeera and saunf) till it splutter.
3.Grind the spices with Indian village grinder that is still used in the villages of India or in grinder.
4.Mix the powdered spices with the spice you grind just now.
5.The spice that will be used for stuffing is ready.
6.Cut the okras by making a partial lengthwise slit.
7.Stuff the okra with the mixed spice.
8.Add lemon juice.
9.Heat oil in a pan and fry the stuffed okras.
10.Fry the okras till the masala get golden brown.Serve hot .
Best served with Steamed rice and simple dal.
