Jhudanga Chana Bhaja or Black Chick pea and Long Beans fry is one of the healthiest recipe prepared in Eastern orissa.The main ingredient of this dish is the Black Chick pea which makes the dish more healthy and the long bean which is a great source of protein.It is prepared in less amount of oil and spices.The people which are on diet can take it in Lunch with one Indian bread(roti).Basically Oriya people take it in lunch with Rice and dal(bhata dali aau bhaja).
Black Chick peas as well as the long beans are the highest source of protein.If you want to stay healthy add this dish in your diet and feel the difference.
Style:Indian dry Curry
Black Chick pea-100 gms soaked overnight and boiled
Turmeric(haldi) powder-1 teaspoon
Curry powder-1 teaspoon
Red Chili Powder-1 teaspoon
Refined Oil- 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Steps to Prepare
1.Cut the long beans in small pieces.
2.Chop the onions.
3.Heat oil in a pan,Add onions,fry for 2 mins than add the long beans.
4.Add haldi powder , Red chili powder ,Curry powder and salt to taste and fry for 5 min in low flame or till the long beans get tender.
5.Add the boiled chana and fry for 2 mins.
6.The dish is ready.
Best Served With Roti or Rice and Dal.
